This Privacy Policy explains what information Spaces by Juliana Linssen, Inc. ("Spaces by Juliana," "we," "us," or "our") collects through www.spacesbyjuliana.com (the "Website"), how we use and share it, and your choices. It is part of our Terms of Use. By using the Website or sending us information, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

1. Information You Give Us

When you fill out our contact form, we collect your first and last name, email address, phone number, project location, project scope, total project budget, preferred timeline, a description of your project, and how you heard about us. When you fill out our Other Inquiries form, we collect your first and last name, email address, phone number, company name, inquiry type, and your message. When you sign up for our newsletter, including by checking the box on our contact form, we collect your email address. If you email us directly, we collect your email address and message. Please do not send sensitive information, such as Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, passwords, or health information.

2. Information Collected Automatically

Like most websites, ours uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are essential to run the site. Others, for analytics and advertising, load only if you accept them in our cookie banner. With your permission, these tools can collect information such as the pages you visit, how you arrived at our site, your device and browser type, and your approximate location based on your IP address.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to respond to your inquiry and discuss and provide our design services; send you our newsletter, if you asked for it; understand how visitors use our website so we can improve it; measure our advertising and show our ads to people who have visited our website; keep the website secure and prevent fraud and misuse; and comply with the law and enforce our Terms of Use. We may also use aggregated or de-identified information that no longer identifies you.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only with service providers that help us run our website and business, and in the limited situations below.

  • Wix hosts our website, stores contact form submissions, and sends our newsletter.

  • Google provides Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Google Tag Manager, if you accept analytics or advertising cookies.

These providers handle information under their own privacy policies and their agreements with us.

Advertising. If you accept advertising cookies, information about your visit may be shared with Google to measure our ads and show them to you. Some privacy laws call this "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising or a "sale." You can stop it at any time by declining or withdrawing consent in our cookie settings.

Other disclosures. We may disclose information if required by law, to enforce our Terms of Use, or to protect our rights, property, or safety or those of others. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of our business, personal information may be transferred as part of it. We may also share information with your consent or at your direction.

5. Cookies and Your Choices

When you first visit our website, a cookie banner lets you accept or decline analytics and advertising cookies. If you decline, those cookies do not load. You can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings button on our website, or by clearing your browser cookies so the banner appears again. Blocking essential cookies may keep parts of the website from working.

  • Wix: runs the website, keeps it secure, and remembers your cookie choice. Always on (essential).

  • Google Analytics: shows us how visitors use our website, in aggregate. Loads only if you accept.

  • Google Ads and Google Tag Manager: measure our ads and let us show them to people who have visited our website. Load only if you accept.

When you accept advertising cookies, Google may collect information about your online activity over time and across different websites. You can learn how Google uses this information at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, manage the ads Google shows you at myadcenter.google.com, and opt out of Google Analytics with the browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Do Not Track. Our website does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals. You can control analytics and advertising cookies through our cookie banner.

6. Affiliate Links and Emails

Some older articles on our blog contain affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you make a purchase after clicking them. The retailer may set its own cookies, which we do not control and which are governed by the retailer's privacy policy, not ours.

Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time. Unsubscribing does not stop messages responding to your inquiry or relating to services you have asked us to provide.

7. Your Rights and Choices

You can ask us to review, correct, or delete the personal information you have sent us by emailing jl@spacesbyjuliana.com. We may need to verify your identity, and we will respond within a reasonable time and within any time required by law. We may keep information we need to comply with the law, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, or maintain business records.

California residents. To the extent California privacy law applies to us, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; to access, correct, or delete it; to opt out of its sale or sharing; and to not be treated differently for exercising these rights. In the past 12 months we may have collected identifiers (name, email, phone); project and business information you provide (location, budget, timeline, description); and, only if you accept cookies, internet and device activity and approximate location. We use and share it as described in Sections 3 and 4. To opt out of sharing for advertising, decline or withdraw consent in our cookie settings. For any other request, email us. You may use an authorized agent with written proof of authority. Residents of other places may have similar rights under local law, and we will consider requests under the law that applies.

8. Retention and Security

We keep personal information only as long as we need it to respond to you, provide our services, and maintain our business records, or as the law requires, and then delete or de-identify it. We use reasonable measures to protect the information we collect, but no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we learn of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.
